A BILL extending the time for the county commission of Harrison County, West Virginia, to meet as a levying body for the purpose of presenting to the voters of the county an election on the question of continuing the excess levy for bus services in Harrison County from between the seventh and twenty-eighth days of March until the first Thursday in June, two thousand six.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
HARRISON COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING AS LEVYING BODY EXTENDED.
§1. Extending time for the Harrison County Commission to meet as a levying body for an election continuing the excess levy for bus services.

Notwithstanding the provisions of article eight, chapter eleven of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, to the contrary, the county commission of Harrison County, West Virginia is hereby authorized to extend the time for its meeting as a levying body, setting the levy rate and certifying its actions to the State Tax Commissioner from between the seventh and twenty-eighth days of March and the third Tuesday in April until the first Thursday in June, two thousand six, for the purpose of
submitting to the voters of Harrison County the question of continuing the excess levy for bus services in Harrison County.
